In an era where Agents become execution entities, which directions are most worth exploring? Rebel in Paradise addresses this question head-on — the premier AI hackathon on Monad, where high-performance blockchain meets cutting-edge artificial intelligence.
Format
A 1-month hybrid program combining online mentorship with two full-day Hacker Camps in Beijing (Jan 31) and Shenzhen (Feb 7). Developers build, collaborate and pitch alongside industry leaders, VCs and fellow builders.
Prize Pool — USD $40,000
- Grand Prize: $5,000 (1 team, selected across all tracks)
- Per Track: 1st Place $3,000 × 3 tracks · 2nd Place $2,000 × 3 tracks
- Total Cash: $20,000 distributed among 7 winning teams
- Creative & Resource Awards ($20,000): NVIDIA DGX Spark AI Supercomputer, trial credits for cutting-edge models and developer tools, office tours and internships at top tech companies

Build AI services using blockchain as settlement layer (2C or 2B), agent-callable payment/subscription/settlement protocols, payment middleware inspired by x402/facilitator, or modular trading/investment/settlement agentic infrastructure.
How smarter Agent commerce truly takes off. Build highly personalized long-running agents or robots, context acquisition/management solutions, agent workflows with strong execution capabilities (not just chat), data/feedback/incentive mechanisms, or AI-driven crypto-native products (smarter wallets, browsers, trading or research tools).
When Agents themselves become the core of products and entertainment. Build Agent-vs-Agent games or simulation systems (Poker/Chess/MOBA), agent competition platforms deeply integrated with prediction markets, short high-frequency round simulation environments, or low-threshold gasless user participation experiences.
